Bay State Vietnam Veterans, Inc.

The Bay State Vietnam Veterans, Inc [Massachusetts] is a not for profit foundation which was set up to specifically fund-raise for the programs and projects of the Massachusetts State Council, Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc.

We needed to create a Foundation to raise funds. Thus, the Bay State Vietnam Veteran Foundation, Inc., was founded. The current President is Richard Levesque. Although this Foundation is a separate Massachusetts 501c(3), the Massachusetts Vietnam Veterans of America State Council maintains an active role on the Board of Directors. Currently the Foundation fundraises through the use of telemarketing.

The Bay State Veteran Newspaper, and Web Site are made possible through the telemarketing. The Foundation Board meets quarterly and other avenues of fundraising are being actively explored. The Foundation also funds the Vietnam Veterans of America Massachusetts Veterans Benefits Program
